The first rocket in the world was assembled and launched by Robert Hutchings Goddard from the USA in 1926, flying a mere 12 meters off the ground. Czech inventors weren’t far behind, however, and Ludvík Očenášek achieved something remarkable a mere four years later. How high was he able to send his own rockets?
